TIN PEST

When cooled below approximately 13 °C, pure tin spontaneously changes from a metallic form with a tetragonal crystal structure to a nonmetallic form with a diamond cubic crystal structure. In this clip, one second corresponds to one hour of real time and the temperature of the block is −40 °C.
